This is a short list of our most frequently asked questions. Please read this section before contacting us.
HOW CAN I PLACE AN ORDER?
1. After you have chosen the T-Shirt you would like to purchase, add it to your cart by first selecting your size and then click on the ADD TO CART button. (The ADD TO CART button does not appear until your size is selected.)
2. After having done that you can either decide to continue shopping or go to your cart (which is located in the top right corner of the webpage).
3. Once you are on the CART page you will then be able to click on the CHECKOUT button.
4. Upon entering the CHECKOUT page, fill out the required information and click on the CONTINUE TO SHIPPING METHOD button.
5. Make sure you haven't mistyped your shipping address, then click on the CONTINUE TO PAYMENT METHOD button.
6. By default, your billing address is the same as your shipping address. If your shipping address differs from the one your debit / credit card is matched to, you will need to enter your billing address too by selecting the "Use a different billing address" option. (Don’t worry, we will always ship to your shipping address. The billing address is needed to confirm you are the card holder.)
7. Eventually, click on the PAY NOW button and complete your payment.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS CAN I USE?
Payments for Bravest Generation are made at PayPal. Through PayPal, you can pay with credit card, debit card, or connected bank account. Once you have clicked on the PAY NOW button, you will be redirected to PayPal's page (it will be opened in a small window) where you can make the payment. Once you have completed your payment, you will receive a receipt from PayPal into your inbox.
I DON'T HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT, CAN I PAY BY CARD?
Yes, you can! Even if you don’t have a PayPal account, or you don’t want to register one, you can still pay through PayPal using your debit / credit card information. Once you have clicked on the PAY NOW button, you will be redirected to PayPal's page (it will be opened in a small window) where you can make the payment. There will be a gray "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" button. Just click on it and complete your payment.
NOTE: For your safety, PayPal will ask your billing address again. PayPal fills out the billing address fields with your shipping address by default. If your shipping address differs from the one your card is matched to, you will need to clear the fields and enter your billing address. (The billing address is needed to confirm you are the card holder.)
WHAT TYPES OF CREDIT CARDS ARE ACCEPTED BY PAYPAL?
PayPal accepts all major credit cards from Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
Check cards or debit cards with either a Visa or MasterCard logo are accepted just like a credit card. (Debit cards requiring a numeric password and pin-pad for entry are currently not compatible with PayPal.)
If you find your credit card is not being accepted with a message such as "The card you entered cannot be used for this payment. Please enter a different credit or debit card number." it might be due to one of the following reasons:
HOW SECURE IS YOUR WEBSITE AND THE CHECKOUT / PAYMENT PROCESS?
Have you ever noticed that some web addresses begin with “http” and others start with “https?” The difference is that “https” means the site has SSL security. SSL stands for Secure Sockets Layer. It’s technology that keeps sensitive information, like credit cards, user names and passwords out of the hands of cyber crooks. How? By encrypting data while it passes between websites and web servers, keeping it from being intercepted. Once it reaches the intended recipient it is un-encrypted.
We take security very seriously. Our SSL Certificate is powered by Shopify (the best ecommerce platform for online businesses) and utilizes industry standard 256-bit encryption technology. This is the same level of encryption used by large banks to keep your information secure.
PayPal also uses the very same SSL technology. All transactions via PayPal are secure and encrypted. In addition, when you send a payment using PayPal, the recipient won't receive sensitive financial information like your credit card or bank account number.
Thanks to Shopify, our website is PCI DSS compliant too. The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is an information security standard for organizations that handle credit card and debit card information. Defined by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council, the standard was created to increase controls around credit card data to reduce credit card fraud via its exposure.
Protecting your security and privacy is important to us. If you have questions or encounter any security-related issues, please contact us.
WHY I CAN'T SEE THE "PAY WITH DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD" OPTION?
Do you see the picture above? Don’t worry! Just click on the “Log In to PayPal” button and the "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" option will appear.
Sometimes PayPal might believe by checking your browser's cookies that you actually own a PayPal account and does not offer direct debit / credit card payments.
If you still cannot see the "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" option, simply delete your web browser's cookies, temp files and history, then close your web browser and reopen it. Place an order again and you will now see the "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" option because PayPal views you as a new visitor. As a workaround, you can try to use another browser, a new incognito window in Google Chrome or a new private window in Mozilla Firefox.
I RECEIVED THE ERROR MESSAGE SHOWN BELOW. WHAT NOW?
If you click on the PAY NOW button and receive the "A match of the Shipping Address City, State, and Postal Code failed." error message, you just mistyped your shipping information during the checkout process. Go back to the CUSTOMER INFORMATION checkout page and correct your shipping address. Double check the City, the State and the ZIP code (Postal code), and make sure that they match each other. (You can use a simple tool like the USPS ZIP code lookup to make sure that the city in your address matches the ZIP code.) Try to make the payment again, and if the issue still persists, contact us.
WILL I RECEIVE AN INVOICE?
Of course! Once you have completed your payment, you will receive an order confirmation from Bravest Generation via email after a few minutes. Also, you will receive an invoice via email within the next 24 hours as an acknowledgment that we have received your payment. The invoice will contain the information provided by you as the recipient, all relevant details of your order, and our company information.
I DIDN’T RECEIVE MY CONFIRMATION EMAIL / INVOICE, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
First, check your Spam or Junk Mail folders to make sure your order confirmation email / invoice notification email didn't end up there. If it is in your spam folder, mark it as "not spam". If you still can't find your email, please contact us.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A SHIPPING ADDRESS AND A BILLING ADDRESS?
The address where you want to receive your orders is called the Shipping Address. It can be your home, your office or even a friend's address. NOTE: We do not ship to PO Boxes, only to physical street addresses. Do not enter PO Box as shipping address during the checkout process!
The billing address is the address associated with your debit / credit card. It is where you receive your bank statement for your card. The billing address must match the address that your debit / credit card company has on file. The billing address is used to verify your card information.
WHY DO YOU NEED MY BILLING ADDRESS?
Online merchants ask for the billing address because it allows them to reduce fraud through a service provided by the card networks (Visa / MasterCard / American Express / Discover) called Address Verification Service (AVS). AVS compares the numeric portion of the billing address that you provide to the merchant with the billing address on file with your card issuer. The billing address is needed to confirm you are the card holder.

WHY DO I HAVE STAINS ON MY BRAND NEW T-SHIRT?

WHAT DOES “SEAMLESS COLLAR” MEAN?
It is a collar that is knit in a circle and is set in circular. There are no joining seams on the collar, found in better-made t-shirts.
WHAT DOES “SHOULDER-TO-SHOULDER TAPED” MEAN?
It means that on the inside of the T-Shirt there's twill tape covering the shoulder seams, starting at the one shoulder point covering the seam, across the collar or neckline seam and over to the other shoulder point. This stabilizes the top of the back of the T-Shirt. This area, because of the way it is cut to fit the body; is prone to stretching out of shape with washing and wearing. The twill tape prevents stretching. It means the T-Shirt is well-made.
WHAT DOES “TUBULAR CONSTRUCTION” MEAN?
Tubular construction means no side seams to rub against your skin so your super-soft T-Shirt has that feel all the way around. These kinds of T-Shirts are knitted in a spiral on circular knit machines.
WHAT DOES “PRE-SHRUNK” MEAN?
Normally cotton shrinks when you wash it by about 10%. Pre-shrunk means the fabric was shrunk BEFORE the T-Shirt was made, so it will stay the same size after you wash it.
Measure under arms around the fullest part of the chest.
Be sure to keep tape level across back and comfortably loose.
Measure around natural waist with a measuring tape.
